Congratulations Aaron Carrillo and Luis Trevino

Aaron and Luis won 1st Place at the College of Health Professions Research Symposium.  Their project was entitled:

"Spinal Cord Injury: Does Size Matter?"

​

Their project seeks to determine how cross-sectional area changes in the spinal cord after a spinal cord injury influence baseline function and recovery potential.

Congratulations Alondra Medina and Alyssa canales

Alondra and Alyssa won 2nd place at the College of Health Professions Research Symposium.  Their project was entitled:

"Scarred for Life: The Role of Spinal Scars in Functional Recovery"

​

Their project assesses MRI images of the spinal cord following spinal cord injury to determine the amount of spinal scarring and the influence of this scar on movement.
